Tarot Cards
Tarot cards are a set of 78 cards, each one showing a unique image, with its own story and symbolism. The set of cards are separated into 22 so called major arcanas and 56 minor arcanas. On the 22 major arcanas are certain archetypes depicted that represent the major karmic, spiritual and life lessons which we all go through. And the 56 minor arcanas depict the day to day trials, struggles and upheavals that we experience.
The tarot cards started to grow in popularity halfway through the 14th century, this wave of popularity was mostly in Europe in countries like France and Italy. But the Tarot originally finds its origin in ancient Egypt, where the cards were used for magical practices, self development and recovering of inner wisdom. The Egyptians believed that the tarot cards could help assist oneself on his or her path of awakening. And through deeply understanding the cards and their meanings also uncovering the deeper nature, mechanisms and layers of oneself and reality. They believed the tarot to be a mirror and a map of the Soul, reflecting the entire spectrum of human experience.

Pendulum
A pendulum is a small weight hanging from a chain or string. The weight hanging from the chain or string can be made of a number of different materials. For instance, it can be made of a metal sort, or a crystal, a stone or even wood. On average the weight is small, about 1/2 inch by 1 inch in size, and the chain or string about 5-8 inches long. Through the swinging of the weight on the chain or string, the pendulum can move or rotate in certain patterns, this in turn giving ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answers to certain questions. Through connecting to our guides, the pendulum can help pass on certain higher knowledge and answers, or they can also originate from our subconscious mind, allowing us to tap into information that under other circumstances would remain hidden or unconscious to us.
Throughout history pendulums have been used to locate water, gold, gems, minerals and other valuable items.
